Ella had her baptism on June 26th, at St. Francis Church in Dracut. I can not believe what a fantastic job she did. She slept during most of the baptism, waking at one point during the ceremony only to stare up at the ceiling and back to sleep she went. Later when she was being blessed with holy water by the priest she also showed a little bit of activity but not much. We were joined by all of our close family members including her godparents, her Auntie Debbie and Uncle Tony.
After the ceremony our family joined us back at the house for a small cookout. Dennis had the idea of renting a bouncy house which proved to be a great idea. It was so nice to have the entire family together, something that does not happen enough. Hopefully, as Ella grows up she will continue to enjoy gatherings like this one.
